I see him so cynically. Like I voted for him in 2016 and 2020. Didn't even vote in the general elections because the democrats Corbyn'd him and I'm more loyal to him as a singular individual than the only alternative to the overt Nazi party. A big part of why I moved to this state was because they voted for him in the 2016 primary when normal schmuckatellis were at best Obama cultists with a teletubbies understanding of any political issue. Despite that he's the quintessential social democrat and made me sympathetic to Stalin. Parenti called him out as early as the 1990s for his position on Yugoslavia and even in 2016 he was just a useful idiot who could convince the average American that humans need healthcare. In 2020 he was the survivalist option for me, "humans actually do need healthcare during the worst pandemic since 1918", but voting for him felt like the kind of action that would rightfully result in me being shot in the Soviet Union. In 2025 he's a husk that exists to remind me that Stalin was right.
I have to agree.
