When I try and find anything in the news, it's pretty clear these videos / stories are either fake, or a misrepresentation of past events. TikTok tried to serve me like at least 4 or 5 of them the other day, and it was really weird, only because I had not heard anyone talking about. Confirmed weird when I couldn't find any news about such an event. The videos are always framed as "China breaks through Israel's blockade!" and shows a massive plane dropping supplies.

Google search returns this: https://www.dw.com/en/fact-check-did-chinese-fighter-jets-deliver-aid-to-gaza/a-72607641

But it begs the question, who is publishing this "news" and why.

But it begs the question, who is publishing this "news" and why.

There is a segment of very enthusiastic multipolarity supporters who are not concerned with factual accuracy.

Same with the Traore posting that’s been going on recently

Yeah, pretty sure I called out an AI generated one the other day. The delivery was very jarring.

was it the weirdly translated interview where they lip-synced him to (close to) his own voice speaking in perfect english with an inexplicable american accent?

It was an interview, but it was his voice. He was talking about French colonialism and imperialism in general. Nothing that was said I would disagree with, but it sounded like it was an AI dub of his own voice. I'll find the thread and link it

Your comment made me think of this.

2025 hasn't ended yet we can still hope!

Considering how badly the US airdrops went because, you know, its not a great idea to airdrop shit into one of the most densely populated areas in the world, I would hope they would think this "propaganda" through.

Tbf when was the last time any western media cared about factual accuracy. The only reason we should care about this is because if it comes out it's fake, every asshole in the west will point to it as "evidence" each time they want to claim something China says is fake. But they'll probably do that regardless.

In terms of factual accuracy, what's good for the goose is good for the gander. I'll start caring about the factual accuracy of aid drops when the west starts caring about the factual accuracy of Israel bombing hospitals and killing children.

There’s no need to lie to support our viewpoint shrug-outta-hecks

Like someone else in this thread said, this content could very possibly be intended to paint anti-Israel, pro-China westerners as liars.
