NTA. I have no idea what I’m talking about, IANAL, I’m merely a sentient houseplant, but:

Your girlfriend should have added “don’t eat my puppy” to the girlfriend contract (enforced by state law and upheld by the Supreme Court since Fuckface v. Madison) if she didn’t want you to eat her puppy. You were fully within your contractural rights.

Tell her “fuck around and find out.” She’s at the finding out part. Also fuck Trump.
