The party was a hit. Everyone went home feeling good about themselves. Most have shit parents. No young person deserves to be a disappointment to their parents for their sexual or gender orientation. They're just people. Bring in the hugs. I don't care. My home is always welcome.

I wasn't there to hear all the conversations. I already knew a lot. It's sad to know some parents are neglectful or abusive. I thought gen x were better than that.
