Largely a sublemmy about capturing drama, from fediverse spanning drama to just lemmy drama.

Includes lore like how a instance got it's name, how an instance got defederated, how an admin got doxxed, fedihistory etc

Soooo the word is spreading that [email protected] might be biased against palestine supporters.

Also feddit.org was down for a few minutes. They apparently have been ddos'ed? There are also some mention of a troll named "antiyank". That guy sounds like a loser. Anybody know about him?

I called it drama in another thread but tbh this aint drama, this is the fedi community hashing out some core issues re censorship, more specifically "modding" being used as censorship.

At the end of the day, server owner can do as they please, but if that's the approach they want to take, then shitposters can also vote with their feet.

This aint reddit where unfavourable opinion can be suppressed, banned and expunged.

Example: see go search luigi discussion on reddit, and note how only a curated discussion got left lol with most critical shit no where to be found. people who followed as it happened will know what's up. just gone. nada

Anyway, we went through this exercise with lemmy.world and luigi, however, there server operator let regime whores on politics and news subs do their thing but today the largest luigi is sub is on lemmy.world.

So we know we had some power tripping mods on lemmy.world operating big news and politics subs. Server admins, take hands off approach.

Feddit.org has gotten mods and server owners going balls deep on pro Palestinian censorship because Israel is more important "under german law"

So this situation is even more egregious IMHO

Why comment on such server? Let them have their zionist circle jerk. Seed communities that permit healthy discourse.
