Gemcraft
i miss gemcraft, which one is your favorite? i really got into chasing shadows, but couldn't get into frostborn wrath.
Oh I'm currently playing Frostborn and am enjoying it. I will say it just sort of puts you in the game with no tutorial for a lot of things it should tell you.
I always end up going back to Chasing Shadows at some point though, nostalgic fun!
In my opinion, Chasing Shadows was the best tower defense game ever made. It's a shame that nothing has come around that can compete, even considering how the genre has moved forward since then. Although I say that with some reservations, as even the games that I've played that "move the genre forwards" haven't been very good despite attempting new things.
There's a new (well relatively) trend of rougish tower defense, one prominent example being Rogue Tower. I've played a few of them, they're all the same. I am very disappointed.
I'm over here wishing for good new tower defense games.
