Hi, I am a 16 year old trans guy. I have been out of the closet for around 2 years now, but I never told my grandparents, because I was scared how they would treat me afterwards and think of me. I think I would not be as scared to come out to my grandparents if not my sister and I were trans. I think it kinda might prove their a little conservative mindset (please do not take this offensive. I mean that they might think that ThE TrAnSgEnDeR SpReAdS or smt).

Rn is my mom at my grandparents house and is going to tell them in the next two days, about me and my sister. I am really anxious. I am scared that they may not take it well or not understand it. How should I cope with this?

Thanks for reading :)

(Sorry, if my English isn't perfect, English isn't my first language)

When scary things have happened or are soon to happen, just assure yourself that you will wake up tomorrow breathing. And someday you'll wake up in an old body and these difficult events will be a distant memory, you just need to get from now to then. You've got this.
