A place to discuss positive changes that can make work more equitable, and to vent about current practices. We are NOT against work; we just want the fruits of our labor to be recognized better.
Our Philosophies:
- All workers must be paid a living wage for their labor.
- Income inequality is the main cause of lower living standards.
- Workers must join together and fight back for what is rightfully theirs.
- We must not be divided and conquered. Workers gain the most when they focus on unifying issues.
Our Goals
- Higher wages for underpaid workers.
- Better worker representation, including but not limited to unions.
- Better and fewer working hours.
- Stimulating a massive wave of worker organizing in the United States and beyond.
- Organizing and supporting political causes and campaigns that put workers first.

And also pay us a fucking livable wage that's been adjusted for inflation and productivity gains over the years for fucks sake.
How are you alive without having livable wages
Now don't get me wrong, you should aim at a wage as high as possible and use whatever to achieve that.
But livable wage? Are you a peasant or something? You already are being kept alive.
I rely on community support, like most people. That can be your spouse, parents, or government benefits, in addition to things like food donation programs.
Children and seniors rely on that. The work force supports them.
I’m not the other person, but I’m from the Uk and we have never seen so many working people having to use food banks as they simply can’t afford the insane cost of living grift that has been happening.
If you work full time and you have to rely on food banks or government top-ups whilst the company you work for is recording record profits and paying c-suite staff millions in compensation then something is clearly wrong with this system.
Go back into EU then, your people decided for another system. Was a literal democratic referendum

Some of our people voted to leave and it was due to a campaign of misinformation in the main stream media.
Your comment is ridiculous and I don’t really think it warranted a response at all.
But why should joining a union of other countries make a difference? Adults don’t rely on community support, as you explained upthread, so there’s literally no purpose to joining one. It’s not like you’re just reactively attacking whoever commented last or anything, so I’m sure you can figure out a way to make sense of this.
Adults are the ones that are relied upon for taxes. Unionising is a power play. You're still going to be working hard to pay the taxes for the people that can't work (yet).
Most of the people here just don't want to work (they don't want to pay taxes)
So adults don’t rely on their community. If they need to, they should join a larger community, to make sure they can support others. Makes as much sense as I can expect for feeding a troll, lol.
Adults are pretty much the community. If all the adults stopped working, then everyone will starve.
The adults that can't provide, need help.
But that's not me or you.
