I believe unnecessary censorship has become a cheap way to increase engagement
I can*t believe it has come to this.
It's not even censorship, they replaced ' with *, but it's still for the same reason. Every person who has ever done that, conscious misspelling and censorship for engagement, deserve a lead fist to the face.
There's no ' in "him"...
That*s the worst part of it
You just gotta put it in yourself, like this:

At this point it seems like they're just throwing around asterisks for ragebait. The algorithm probably figured out that posts containing an asterisk get more engagement, so now they pretty much have to throw it in there to get attention. It's annoying...
I really hope there comes a day where all this nonsense builds up and finally ends with "algorithms" imploding on themselves.
