The Ukrainian military carried out a drone strike on the town of Aleshki in Russia’s Kherson Region on Thursday, targeting a busy local market, the regional governor, Vladimir Saldo, has said. At least seven people have been killed in the attack and over 20 more wounded, he added in a post on Telegram.

According to Saldo, the attack occurred around 9:30 a.m. local time near the central market, where many people were present. He said the initial “massive strike” was followed by another aimed “to finish off the survivors.”

Saldo added that Ukrainian forces have previously also “systematically” targeted ambulances, making it difficult to evacuate the wounded from affected areas.

“systematically” targeted ambulances

So taking tactics from israel.

Not that israel invented being horrible to civilians. The US has been doing that for decades across the world, the British empire, French, etc., before it. This is the legacy of colonialism and its dehumanizing mindset.

There's an article about the similarities of Ukraine and Israel from a journalist who worked in both Gaza and Donbass. This was published in 2022 and it only got worse since.

Ukrainian Army War Crimes Include Shelling of Ambulences, Firetrucks, and Rescue Workers in the Donbass Republics—Similar to Israelis and U.S. Backed Terrorists in Syria

Sad, but good to be aware of. Bookmarking this to help put into context the nature of Ukraine regime for people who think they're a victim.
