Jokes, and possibly memes, begin in a physical location. It is proposed that generally jokes begin in Libraries. And furthermore through the process of "telling jokes" (through speech, in written form, and possibly other means) these "jokes" move around to world. At some point in the history of a given joke, and for all jokes eventually, they will be told, literally spoken out loud, in an operating room.
