I've learned the most destructive question you can ask a Boomer is "what is it that you want?" They have no fucking idea, it's something they have never even attempted to ponder.
They're terminally oppositional. Whatever they want is what you don't want. So if you want what they want they stop wanting it. If you don't want what they don't want they transform into Unwant the Unwanted One and start thrashing about like a Dark Souls boss.
FR FR, I encounter this with my Dad. Dude seems to genuinely enjoy being unhappy. Whatever he's doing he will complain. Guy's got a fucking beach house in a place with pristine blue waters. He will call me from a sunny beach with a drink in his hand and complain about shit. Like wtf dude, if I was in your spot I'd be the happiest motherfucker ever.
Tell your dad I'll give him something to complain about
Probably has a bad gaming setup.
I just want a lair that looks like a skull on an uninhabited volcanic island.
Then me and the crew would try and take over the world for funs and giggles
You don't even have to go that far, just ask them "why?" or "how so?" and they look at you like this bit from Seinfeld
Asking for sources is another thing that triggers this. They think it's cheating to ask them where they heard of a piece of information or factoid.
