The MC was certainly assertive, taking the literal leap into a stolen Gundam suit without even thinking twice.

That's basically all Gundam MCs.

She also had zero qualms just straight up killing the police officers that were attacking her newfound friend.

That's like a significant number of Gundam MCs.

Personally, I love these Gundam tropes. They helped make it iconic.
