Fell down a little rabbit hole tonight looking into some of the people I graduated with. As far as I can tell no one's won the lottery or gamed the system enough to become "successful" so I'm glad I'm (hexbear.net)

not the only "loser". And I went to a good public school too but it feels like everyone my age just kind of crashed out. Can't say I blame them given [gestures] everything. My old high school crush has an etsy store and makes cute little knickknacks which is nice.

Couple people i knew are like outdoor sports mountain bike competition guys and that, to me, is the most successful you can get. Doing the thing you actually like so well that people pay you for it.

One guy launched multiple crypto coins before meme coins were a thing and everyone always called him a manipulative sociopath behind his back so that tracks.

Otherwise I'm only on Facebook for marketplace and muted everyone a long time ago so i don't really see that stuff
