Follow the viva new Vegas guide. It’s allowed me to play on modern systems with minimal issues. Still the odd crash on occasion but it’s rare

Man, I hoped there would be a one-click update from somewhere that would make it stable. I'll put in the elbow grease to get it up and running one of these days, it was a great game.
