Work Reform

A place to discuss positive changes that can make work more equitable, and to vent about current practices. We are NOT against work; we just want the fruits of our labor to be recognized better.
Our Philosophies:
- All workers must be paid a living wage for their labor.
- Income inequality is the main cause of lower living standards.
- Workers must join together and fight back for what is rightfully theirs.
- We must not be divided and conquered. Workers gain the most when they focus on unifying issues.
Our Goals
- Higher wages for underpaid workers.
- Better worker representation, including but not limited to unions.
- Better and fewer working hours.
- Stimulating a massive wave of worker organizing in the United States and beyond.
- Organizing and supporting political causes and campaigns that put workers first.

MODERATORS
Well, this is America, and parents are free to make those kind of choices. My children will not be working those fields (especially considering they're in VA). As always, the poor and their children will be the most exploited in this endeavor, but considering these same people are orange voters, I really only feel bad for the children.
"The beatings will continue, until morale improves."
Or the poor stop letting themselves be taken advantage of, and the not so poor, but poorly educated or informed, graduate to better informing themselves. All the information is available out there. People simply need to open their eyes and consume it, instead of being told what to think from a talking head on tv.
It's incumbent upon every member of society to protect the weakest and most powerless, or else you are complicit in wielding the boot.
It is an unfortunate situation in that half the people who voted in the US, specifically voted against protecting the weakest and most powerless. Many of themselves ARE part of that group, but don't want help because it would also help other people.
At this point, those who DO want to protect the weakest and most powerless, are themselves powerless to help.
And don't forget the importance in supporting our institutions, the ones that DOGE is working hard to kill.
