Mainly bought it for astrophotography, it’s also not bad for night book reading at home for its really low moonlight mode.

Didn't really got the chance to use it for what I meant to (I'll check soon if the headband of the Manker E03H II fits, if not I have to find one that does). I skipped the bigger Hank worklights because I feared they would be too big and bulky, but this feels perfect. It's light but solid. I'll also evaluate the beam shape and in case swap in other TIR (I got the other 2 options to be on the safe side).

I can weigh in on the bigger ones (18650) — they don’t feel too bulky at all and I think they fit nicely in the palm for general use. Not ideal for a headband though. The smoothed edges are really nice on the angled head.

Thanks for your thoughts on that! I have a Skilhunt H04 RC and use it extensively around the house for handiwork, but it over the limit for a jogging headlamp for example. I would expect the D4W to be in the same range.

It's bigger and heavier than the H04.
