I get the shot part but you're seriously telling me someone in another country wouldn't ever think to use the two tonne high speed steel box around them as a weapon when threatened?
Plenty of people would just drive off, yes.
Why would you run them over when you can just drive away... I'm very worried about my American friends when I see the violent ambience present there that the first thought when threatened isn't "how do I get out of this situation" but "how do I kill this person".
I think the desire for random violence is born out of the inability to be justifiably violent towards authoritarian figures. I think that's why I like video games about shooting cops.

I was really just referring to the getting shot part but tbh hopefully the first choice wouldn’t be to kill whoever’s walking towards you with your car
