To entice new customers, Diamond Crystal recently introduced a redesigned box in a smaller size. The new one-pound box sells for $8.99 on Amazon. Its three-pound counterpart cost $8 in 2018 and retails for $12.99 today.

"Maybe if we change the box they won't notice we tripled the price of our product"
