It really is sad. In a just world, he would have received free help long before he became this unhinged. But we don't, and he didn't. And when it progresses to the point where they're saying stuff like, "If you send people here, I will shoot and kill them," sending men with guns is a pretty reasonable response.

Unfortunately, this may have been the best possible outcome in America. At least he didn't hurt anybody else.
