I'd like to get my hands on a good Huawei device. I'm pretty deep in the G ecosystem but it wouldn't be the worst idea to use a device with a different baseband chip as has been stated. I just recently got my pixel 6 though 😩 I do plan on searching out a different type of device next time I upgrade though

I put LineageOS on my pixel and it works pretty well. I find it's a good compromise where you have access to Google ecosystem, but can start degoogling.

I'm absolutely familiar with lineage and years ago cyanogenmod, I was always a fan. But oh my goodness last time I was playing with lineage was right when they were switching over, back in my OnePlus One says.

I used cyanogenmod years ago, but then went back to stock for a while. Started using Lineage last year, and so far pretty happy with it.
