Comic Strips is a community for those who love comic stories.
The rules are simple:
- The post can be a single image, an image gallery, or a link to a specific comic hosted on another site (the author's website, for instance).
- The comic must be a complete story.
- If it is an external link, it must be to a specific story, not to the root of the site.
- You may post comics from others or your own.
- If you are posting a comic of your own, a maximum of one per week is allowed (I know, your comics are great, but this rule helps avoid spam).
- The comic can be in any language, but if it's not in English, OP must include an English translation in the post's 'body' field (note: you don't need to select a specific language when posting a comic).
- Politeness.
- Adult content is not allowed. This community aims to be fun for people of all ages.

This is why I always disable those whenever possible. Nobody is entitled to know when you read a damn txt.
My fiance would agree, create too much drama like this, especially if you can't reply right away or need a min to process something important. Im an android user, don't have this issue. Boundaries are mostly healthy.
Android mostly has RCS with read / delivered / opened receipts and 'now typing' notifications now
Which you can disable, thankfully.
Even works with iPhone now
Yep, iPhone caved and adopted the worldwide standard
Exactly.
Also, I might read a message quickly while I'm at work for example, but not have the chance to reply because of that, so I don't want people to think I'm ignoring them when I just don't have the time to reply at that moment.
I had a coworker do it to me yesterday.
"Thanks for taking care of that issue with Jeremy."
"It's just weird because he told me the opposite thing yesterday."
"Are you mad at me?"
I enable them for the reason in the comic. I want people to know I’m ignoring them. Or maybe if it’s my wife and she sees I read it 30 mins ago but didn’t respond (if one’s needed), maybe I forgot, and she can poke me again to reply.
Lmao
or have endless notifications in the lock screen, to carefully navigate to peek at every preview.
