No Denis, everyone/the whole of America weren't doing illegal shit, weren't doing drugs, weren't rebels. It was just you and the rest of your arty white mates.

I do like how he chose he chose pop songs and used the lyrics as narrative for the movie

and America really is beautiful

and having a great camera man helps

lots of improv and unprofessional actors
