socialism was impossible in the USSR, China, etc., because they had not yet fully developed capitalism (and the developed world did not experience the necessary revolutions to assist them in industrialization, etc).

That's a Trot line isn't it?

Could be. I'm not very familiar with the trot line tbh. Not a single mention of trotsky yet though
