And a LOT of American citizens are Hispanics. The vast majority of Hispanics are citizens or legal immigrants. You really can't connect random crimes to immigration, when studies show that illegal immigrants do not commit crimes out of proportion to their numbers.
I know. The Hispanic population was actually part of the reason I chose this neighborhood, I love the "melting pot" feel it has.
I am not directly pinning the crimes to the immigrants but crime rose when they arrived and the ratio of surname origina on the list shifted.
Don't ignore the rest of what I said, though. What do you think happens when competition for low-wage jobs grows exponentially over night?
