When Gaza was a free-fire zone before the war, and "Hamas" has been anyone within a city block of the nearest hospital during the war, I'm not optimistic about what a ceasefire will look like.
Are any journalists alive to even report on the ground in Gaza? Is UNRWA allowed back in to resume relief work? Or are we just taking an IDF spokesperson's word that the killing is ending?
