I've fired hundreds of rounds out of my Glock 19 Schnitzel without issue.

And I understand that not everyone can get their hands on a high quality "real" parts kit, but it's not just frames that have come a long way. But even the single shot guns have gone a long way!

I've got a Harlot with a dime breech that I've put dozens of (admittedly .22 short) rounds through. You can build one of those for like $20-$30.

There's plenty of other awesome builds that can withstand hundreds or even thousands of rounds, made out of good ol' PLA+.

Balancing my desire to post cool photos with my OpSec desires. Might set stuff up for it soon.

also consider giving PETG a shot (pun intended), it's not much more difficult to work with than PLA and its varieties, and it's more durable

PETG tends to have more flex to it than PLA+, which can be an issue if a design wasn't made with that in mind. I've played around with stuff like PA-CF, but PLA+ is cheap.

true! I mostly use PETG because I'm normally making woodworking jigs and fixtures, so the flex is actually desirable, PLA is hard but brittle, so it tends to shatter under certain loads
