I've fired hundreds of rounds out of my Glock 19 Schnitzel without issue.
And I understand that not everyone can get their hands on a high quality "real" parts kit, but it's not just frames that have come a long way. But even the single shot guns have gone a long way!
I've got a Harlot with a dime breech that I've put dozens of (admittedly .22 short) rounds through. You can build one of those for like $20-$30.
There's plenty of other awesome builds that can withstand hundreds or even thousands of rounds, made out of good ol' PLA+.

It's gonna be lighter than a pistol, have wider spread than a shotgun, the range of a sniper rifle, the fire rate of an automatic and every member of the ruling class will be terrified of it
