According to a 2018 Time Magazine report, incarcerated firefighters were four times more likely to sustain injuries compared with professional firefighters working on the same fires.

they took money away from the firefighters to overarm their police, then decided to use prison labour to fight the fires.

fucking hell. I'm starting to understand why they were so stupid as to keep the gum trees now.
