Brainrot zoomer language was pioneered by members of our generation, yet is cringe to us. Same with "XD :3 ><" and the generation before us. Stuff becomes cool because older people start it, only for younger people to embody it. "UwU" is a gift that we ought to respect (≧ω≦)

it was moderately post ironic for us, when we used it. It went from being a once in a while thing just to add some additional slang. To a post hyper irony period where the joke is that the words we used dont make any sense and have no meaning, therefore you can just do that with EVERY word.

At the time, I was too busy glaring at the concept of irony being used incorrectly to know any of the slang you are referring to.

it went from "died from laughter" to "good stitch" to "whatever the kids say these days don't ask me i dont know anymore"
