I think the counterargument they're expressing is that the majority of the Democratic party is too cowardly and useless to ever do something. Seems like a fair statement to me.

Personally, I think trying to work with the unappealing mess that is the Democratic Party is a better way to go than abandoning all representation within the establishment and hoping for the best. But I get the disappointment this person is expressing.

Yep, pretty much. And I get what you’re saying about not throwing the baby out with the bathwater… but at the same time, I don’t want fucking ANYONE involved in recent national-level DNC campaigns within a country mile of any meaningful not-Republican campaign, because those people are absolutely fucking useless.
