I normally use my sister's nearly 40yo school bag that probably came from a department store.
Yeah I got one in middle school, dropped 120$ at the time for a durable/weatherproof one. Eh who knows with inflation but for length of service I can't fault it, it survived a civil war and is over 15 years old now. It's a bit big now that I don't carry text books.
