    No you plant the banana and let it multiply so you can dig them up in the warm season and feed many

    Yeah you put them in the ground and then the flowers bloom on the tap root that comes out the end of the banana. They are then fertilised by earth worms and once the bananas ripen you then pull them out as the bunch we all know and love.
