German police beat a Gaza solidarity protester unconscious and then denied a medical team access to treat them. Protesters gathered in Berlin to highlight the plight of women in Gaza, on the International Day for the Elimination of Violence against Women.

And if it seems impossible, remember that Filipino guerrillas did it with pipes and boards and hand tools while being invaded by Imperial Japan. And your average cop is probably not as disciplined as your average IJA soldier. Not even handing it to Japan, but cops -even the supposed Warrior Cops- are simply not prepared to be shot at with any real regularity. They drive around in self-soothing MRAPs thinking of themselves like armored troopers in the streets of Fallujah, but the fact is that they wouldn't last a week before calling in the guard if an insurgency actually did kick off. Maybe not even 3 days.
