And what would be those consequences to Ireland, one of the few countries in Europe with its actual shit together? I don't doubt the US is shortsighted enough to do something, I just would like to see the 'consequences' of them doing it.

I mean Ireland's entire economy is based around letting US companies avoid taxes in the EU, so there's quite a bit the United States could do to fuck that up.

So what would the US do to another Anglo country? Make those tax incentives meaningless by making it prohibitive for companies to operate there?
