no coup (to my knowledge lol), we have just been ruled by compradors to empire since the free state became "independent" 100 years ago. the war of independence was the counterrevolution basically. first the brits, now mostly we are vassal to the yanks. portion of the country still under british occupation and rule.

If you remove the English army tomorrow and hoist the green flag over Dublin Castle, unless you set about the organisation of the Socialist Republic your efforts would be in vain. England would still rule you. She would rule you through her capitalists, landlords and financiers.

for sure. he was 100 years ahead of his time, so much in common with Lenin. the Brits still get their share though, obviously in the north very overtly but I live in the free state and I pay my rent to a British company lol
