Yeah it's a fascinating sociology experiment. They're not curating their own blocks when they're using lists, so they're subscribing to someone else's whims. I think they're going to end up in smaller and smaller silo'd microcommunities and we're going to get old Tumblr levels of bizarre niche cultures where people just develop incredible beliefs.

Like they have no idea how important it was that everyone was angry at everyone on Twitter to keep the culture mill churning. Without that constant hostility Bsky is going to be a very different experience. Maybe pleasant for some, but it's also not going to drive hte kind of virality that people are used to where there are big twitter moments everyone participates in.
