We've been telling you what the democrats need to do to win from the start. Not because we don't want the democrats to do these things, but because we want the democrats to win.
Yall are the ones who insisted you could win on Biden while running an even more conservative campaign than 2020 and committing a genocide until the literal day he dropped out, and then insisted Kamala was going to win by appealing to the <10% of republicans who say they don't like Trump instead of a. not facilitating genocide and b. Immediate improvements to the material conditions of the rest of America.
$5,000 dollar tax return for new families doesn't get people to the polls. A $5,000 dollar check does. Free healthcare gets people to the polls, "fill out all these forms so you can get an unknown discount to an already incomprehensibly complex insurance system" doesn't.
Not sure where or to whom you were telling that, because the message that was most yelled was "not good enough, I'm not supporting her".
The right is always united when it counts. Of course Russian money helps them get the memo.
That's the way it's interpreted when we say <policy that was compromised until the base doesn't care and republicans still oppose it> is a bad policy.
There is no median voter who wants means-tested tax-breaks for new families, but would oppose checks for new families.
When we say "not good enough", we're saying it's a stupid way of spending political capital that doesn't actually gain you any votes.
