I started seeing more spam that does not get removed until several hours had passed and low quality content had started growing.

That community need more/new moderators that are active.

That depends on the mobile client support for managing the community.

If the jerboa for Android app support this, then I can volunteer.

Otherwise, I am not going to use the web client to manage this.
