They do speak English, but in spoken Kiwi, they convert 75% of their vowels to a short i.

All our vowels are just "u" (or schwa as I was once told).

  • Nuw Zulund
  • Fush und chups
  • Uh nu, u'm buchd, u'm buchd us.
