I try to derive silver linings from it. I'm convinced it'd be altogether too easy for me to be a rank misleader if I hadn't grown up on the wrong side of a boot. I'm pretty compassionate to invertebrates but roaches give me the ick, it was more that it was extremely obvious this is a common occurrence for him.
It's disgusting of course, but the reaction of puting it downstairs is more human than I would have expected from someone like him.
