The GOP in Texas have been running attack ads featuring a trans-masc student wrestler that was forced to wrestle with girls due to the anti-trans Texas laws that already exist. Their ad is seemingly against their own laws effects, but of course none of that matters to the optics of an attack ad in Texas.
This Dem could have easily pointed any of this out, but of course goes with the worst option of being even more explicitly anti-trans.
