MODERATORS
keffiyehs aren't even political or specifically Palestinian. They're not even specific to Arab people, like I know Iranians and Afghans who wear them. One Iranian girl I know wore a keffiyeh as part of her school uniform.

They're (or they were) pretty popular in Argentina, specially between "rolingas", fans of the rolling stones and other Argentinean rock bands.
They were briefly popular in the mid 00s here in the US among some Emo bands
You see real and pretend “operators” wearing them too all the time because it’s a very practical garment.
