I didn't return and I never brought my group back there, even if that saddened the new player. His demand was that he had to always be present during games with his daughter (his wife being there didn't matter), so because of his petty
custody battle of sorts, that meant I couldn't run any more games for her.
Sad situation all around; I knew she enjoyed the experience and maybe the Gambo shit flew right over her head because her Halloween costume that same year when she visited my house was custom-made to resemble that session's princess character, prop weapons and all.
