The doge meme is laughable but what's more ridiculous is he thinks he can make an organization more efficient. No, working your engineers with unpaid overtime so much that it's routinely expected they'll quit in 6 months and land a better job is not efficient. Being forced to buy an overpriced, unprofitable website for $44 billion when your pump and dump scheme failed is not efficient. Losing all your market share on electric vehicles because you farmed out tax credits to your competitors without scaling up production in your 10 year head start is not efficient. I almost hope that he does get his pet Department made so he can fail even more publicly than he already has.
He turned Twitter from a 44 billion purchase to a 10 billion and dropping liability and his narcissism compels him to go bigger than that.
