ITT: A bunch of 30+ year olds complaining that movie made for target demographics of 5-12 year olds looks dumb and for children
The Lego movie would like a word
Shrek, Despicable Me, Every Disney movie ever, would also like a word.
The best kids movies are ones that put jokes in for the Adults forced to watch them - it shows they care about their audience, even the incidental one.
Just because it's for children doesn't mean it has to be bad.
Just because people on the internet don't like it doesn't mean it's bad.
