I did not fucking say there was no genocide. I said you said they weren't left. Your comment abandoned the people in that camp.

[–] [email protected] -4 points 2 months ago* (last edited 2 months ago) (1 children)

They are actively being exterminated right now. Unlike 6 months back when everyone went "well Trump would flatten Gaza"... Gaza is flattened. By Biden and Harris.

Hell israel has literally started moving on to the next Genocide in the West Bank. And Harris is advocating for Netanyahu to permanently occupy all of Palestine with her full military support.

Linker, man. We didn't reform our voting system early enough. Now we've let the right fall over the edge and the left ratchet right up next in line. We are out of options until we eliminate FPTP. What do you want us to do? Elect Jill Stein somehow?

[–] [email protected] -1 points 2 months ago (1 children)

Keep voting Democrat thats going to change everything if we do it long enough!

Yes the Democrats are also Genocidal Fascists now, we should have changed our voting earlier welp nothing can change it now!

Did Kamala include FPTP in her campaign? I think I missed it.

[–] [email protected] 2 points 2 months ago* (last edited 2 months ago) (1 children)

Its included for free in every campaign and neither power will change that fron the top. Again, what is your answer? It sounds like you're advocating for flipping the table and not participating.

[–] [email protected] -4 points 2 months ago (1 children)

Your answer is directly supporting a party promising Genocide is the same as a party promising no Genocide?

[–] [email protected] 4 points 2 months ago (2 children)

No, I'm literally asking you what you think we should do if not vote Democrat. What is your idea?

[–] [email protected] 2 points 2 months ago (1 children)

They want people to vote for jill Stein on not vote. Totally can't predict what comes next!

[–] [email protected] 3 points 2 months ago

Believe me, I wish we lived in some solarpunk place that cared. But as a sort of response to Linker, we won't get it by Varuca Salting it into existence. Jill Stein is not the champion to lead us there. No one is. It will take all of us to overthrow the crushing heel of those who own these planet devouring industries.

[–] [email protected] -3 points 2 months ago* (last edited 2 months ago) (1 children)

Yes do not vote Democrat if the Genocide is not stopped before the election. Stein is a great alternative but anything except Dems and Republicans is fine.

[–] [email protected] 3 points 2 months ago (1 children)

That would need an insane grass roots effort I'm just not seeing here. We should focus on implementing ranked choice or any other voting system than FPTP that makes more candidates viable.

[–] [email protected] -3 points 2 months ago* (last edited 2 months ago) (1 children)

Even if you don't care about brown people getting Genocided, Democrats are not implementing FPTP. GPTP is just another strawman for "vote blue this time we'll figure it out next time" and then the Democrats don't provide the wanted changes.

The reason Democrats keep shifting right is because they only need to appeal to Republicans. Since they feel it's literally impossible to lose a left vote, because they're doing an actual Genocide right now.

This 30 second video explains it quite well.

[–] [email protected] 3 points 2 months ago (1 children)

Yeah I get it. But right now thats gonna net us Trump. I care about brown people, as you say, but I also care about how shit is here at home. So I'm not gonna vote third party until our FPTP system is changed. Especially during an election where Trump is on the board again. Thats gonna net us Trump again no matter how self righteous we wanna be.

[–] [email protected] -3 points 2 months ago* (last edited 2 months ago) (1 children)

No it will net us a stop to the Genocide if there's enough voting pressure in polling. Biden stepping down because he tanked in the polls is ultimate proof of it. Demanding change for your vote is possible without FPTP.

Instead of working against third party advocates it's more effective to work with them and create pressure to stop the Genocide so people can vote Democrat again. And also the Genocide stops nice bonus.

Thats gonna net us Trump again no matter how self righteous we wanna be.

Trump will be the same as the Democrats. Kamala and Biden have already pledged to support a war with Iran and the entire region. Israel is just now starting Genocide #2 in the West Bank under Biden.

If the Democrats want to be not-Trump they actually have to be not-Trump instead of just saying they're not-Trump.

And if Democrats believe supporting a Genocide is more important than beating Trump, you have to wonder if they're as afraid of Trump as they pretend they are.

[–] [email protected] 2 points 2 months ago (1 children)

Trump is the same as the Democrats? Bad take

[–] [email protected] -2 points 2 months ago (1 children)

If you didn't know who was president right now and you saw what was happening in Gaza, who would you think won the 2020 election?

[–] [email protected] 4 points 2 months ago* (last edited 2 months ago) (1 children)

I get it, but the tariffs Team Trump wants to induce will leave my children and I with no roof over our heads. Like, I dont know if you get that, but I will be largely effected at home by who is ruling. I dont have the luxury of constantly micromanaging overseas when I'm struggling right here at home. It matters. And it doesnt matter who is in charge, I was there when Obama dropped all those bombs. The US is imperialist, this is what the evil shits do.

[–] [email protected] 1 points 2 months ago (2 children)

My only problem is the argument that a vote for Harris is helping Palestinians.

As for your personal situation, I do empathize but there's a lot of people losing their roofs and families to Biden right now. Unless Trump promised to F35 bomb your house I can't prioritize you over them. But your vote is your own.

And it doesnt matter who is in charge, I was there when Obama dropped all those bombs. The US is imperialist, this is what the evil shits do

Well of course. They never get punished for it so there's no reason for them to stop. This election it is just getting too blatant.

[–] [email protected] 2 points 2 months ago

I have a problem with that too. It feels like nobody on this side of the globe with any credible form of power cares. Its like they're all salivating at the thought and its disgusting and why the fuck does this have to be the stakes in such a non-choice election. In fact, I have never gotten to choose. I've only gotten to vote against these fascist fucks. I'm tired. I want new everything, too. I want at least one motherfucker in our government besides fucking Bernie to say how fucked up Israel is. But that never happens. They live in a world of PAC money and favors, and we live at the End of Days.

[–] [email protected] 1 points 2 months ago (1 children)

who else is there to vote for?

[–] [email protected] -1 points 2 months ago (1 children)

The Greens are offering virtually everything progressives demand.

[–] [email protected] 0 points 2 months ago

Except of course the slightest chance of winning
