Nah, genius move. Here’s a few billion dollars bonus of our shrinking profits from the next decade or so, so you don’t lose motivation. - half brain dead Tesla board.

The board suggested a vote in favor but it's the investors who voted in the end

The government should cut out their subsidy for Tesla EVs to the tune of the pay increase. Send a message to greedy CEOs to not steal government subsidies for themselves.

Also send a message to the corrupt majority shareholders who voted yes to an absurd pay package. You can bet they get a private call before any major Tesla announcements to get ahead thanks to those votes.

He’d lose all his performance bonuses from the sales cut and the shareholders would want him gone asap.
