Links must be to the original source, not an aggregator like Google Amp, MSN, or Yahoo.
Example:
- Articles must be relevant to politics. Links must be to quality and original content. Articles should be worth reading. Clickbait, stub articles, and rehosted or stolen content are not allowed. Check your source for Reliability and Bias here.
- Be civil, No violations of TOS. It’s OK to say the subject of an article is behaving like a (pejorative, pejorative). It’s NOT OK to say another USER is (pejorative). Strong language is fine, just not directed at other members. Engage in good-faith and with respect! This includes accusing another user of being a bot or paid actor. Trolling is uncivil and is grounds for removal and/or a community ban.
- No memes, trolling, or low-effort comments. Reposts, misinformation, off-topic, trolling, or offensive. Similarly, if you see posts along these lines, do not engage. Going forward, slapfights will result in removed comments and temp bans to cool off.
- Vote based on comment quality, not agreement. This community aims to foster discussion; please reward people for putting effort into articulating their viewpoint, even if you disagree with it.
- No hate speech, slurs, celebrating death, advocating violence, or abusive language. This will result in a ban. Usernames containing racist, or inappropriate slurs will be banned without warning

All posts and comments will be reviewed on a case-by-case basis. This means that some content that violates the rules may be allowed, while other content that does not violate the rules may be removed. The moderators retain the right to remove any content and ban users.
That's all the rules!

Perhaps a bit too much. Trans rights are human rights, but their rights shouldn't impede the rights of others. No, I don't have specific examples, I just think this is a good general rule. If no impeding is happening, we don't have a problem.
What rights could they be impeding on by existing, taking up space, and not wanting to be discriminated against for doing so. Because the rights of the individual stop when it affects the rights of the other. A concept that mainly affects the religious, who are also the group most lost to the concept. That and white supremacists.
Exactly my point as well.
And you have no examples of this happening in regards to transrights. So what was the point of your posts other than posting dog whistles in trans friendly spaces?
I don't need to present examples for this (= rights should not impede rights) to be a valid general position. Not everything is a dog whistle.
If it's a generality, why bother bringing it up about trans rights? That's why commenters are saying it's a dog whistle.
'Perhaps a bit to much.' was the tip off for me. Perhaps vga is astroturfing for the GOP. I don't really know. Just asking questions.
Probably some sort of a clashing of bubbles that's due to social media being a broken thing. We are all imagining our own version of what is being reported and what people are saying and then extrapolating from that the character of the other people talking.
My fault obviously for entering the discussion in the first place. I wasn't trying to even accomplish anything, just procrastinating. It's not as if anyone's gonna change their minds based on these discussions. Everyone's just trying to "win" them, whatever the fuck that means.
