Whenever I think nobody spewing dem talking points could possibly be dumb enough to actually believe what they themselves are saying I will always find a counterexample. People feeling betrayed because they truly believed the desperate damage control messaging about a man who comprehensively demonstrated that only pudding rested between his ears. And these are adults! People older than I am! Very embarrassing.
Oh yeah it is the greatest example of "if you build it, they will come." Even the stupidest shit has its fans and devotees, that's why every once in a while you see an article like 'Why Sucker Punch is an underrated classic."
